Quick, Tool-Free Adjustments

As printing presses become more automated, UV systems should, too. Peak UV™ moves into place at the touch of a single button, and can be removed by a single operator. The operator is empowered to independently change lamps, wipe down reflectors, or change a module position in minutes without tools. To reconnect, just slide the module back onto the bayonets with nothing else to connect and hit a button; the module is back in place and ready to cure.

High Performance

Peak UV™ represents an entirely new class of UV curing. Fresh engineering incorporates the functions and characteristics that printers asked for, and also eliminates the problems that have commonly plagued UV printers and other UV- system manufacturers.

We introduced Wide-Beam reflector geometry, which allows high-speed curing to take place at lower power settings — debunking the myth that a narrow, focused band of UV is required to maximize the cure.

And using a true mechanical chiller instead of a cheaper heat exchanger keeps the modules and the press running cooler and lasting longer.

For outstanding performance, all Peak UV™ systems come equipped with 20-100% stepless power adjustment available in either 400 or 500 W/inch maximum-power configurations.

Maximum Flexibility

Peak UV™’s identical, universal modules offer unheard-of flexibility. Need more power curing inks on a special job? A single operator can move an end-of-press module to an interstation position in minutes. With Peak UV™ there’s no limit to where the module can be located. Every Peak UV™ lamp housing is interchangeable between end of press and interstation. Switching from hybrid to opaque white to true UV is now dependent only on your job, not on your UV positions.

Operator Ease of Use

Peak UV™ components can be changed, checked, or cleaned quickly and without tools. UV lamps snap in easily. Each module tracks its lamp hours automatically, regardless of changes in position.
Peak UV™ modules slide into position in seconds with a guaranteed plug-and-play locking mechanism. There are no multiple disconnects for air, water, and electrical. Even on the largest formats, a single operator can reposition a module without calling for assistance.

Reliability and Redundancy

The Peak UV™ System was designed to perform in the most demanding UV environments in North America, where nonstop operations are the norm. UV modules and shutters have a seamless water circuit that eliminates rubber hoses. Exposed fasteners and other mechanical parts that could loosen from vibration are isolated from the module body, virtually eliminating the possibility of a part falling into a press. Because all Peak UV™ modules are universally interchangeable by the operator, they provide a level of system back-up and redundancy not possible from any other manufacturer.
