Air Motion Systems rolls out the “UV Lounge” at Print 2005 in Chicago

Advanced Peak UV™ Technology and Customer Successes Showcased

October, 2005— Print 2005 — Air Motion Systems, Inc. announces the first-ever “UV Lounge” (www.uvlounge.com), a one-of-a-kind customer and technology showcase produced for Print 2005 in September, the year's largest printing technology trade show held in Chicago.

As the leading North American manufacturer of UV technology, accessories and services to the printing industry, Air Motion Systems has seen the adoption of its Peak UV™ system grow ten-fold in four years as the industry continues to embrace the benefits of UV curing and hybrid UV printing, taking advantage of the previously unheard of flexibility and automation features found in the Peak UV™ system.

At the lounge, AMS showcased the company's latest products, including the current-generation Peak UV™ system, the Peak IR™ system and the Cool Impressions™ system. In the evenings, AMS hosted receptions celebrating its customer successes, including the production of an industry-first customer video. Testimonials from leading customers and UV printers including Merrill Corporation, Imagine Print Solutions, Pacific Southwest Container, Schiele Group and Curtis Packaging will be highlighted in the upcoming video. The lounge also served as a forum for annoncing the company's newest service offering, "UV Consulting", designed to accelerate the learning curve for new UV printers.

In creating the UV Lounge, AMS opted for an alternative to the conventional format followed by most trade-show exhibitors. The lounge - a conference space converted to an inviting and entertaining atmosphere - was created as an area for AMS customers, prospects and partners to gather, relax and share information and ideas that are moving the industry forward.

AMS also used the UV Lounge to announce new Peak UV™ customer deals, including MOR Printing and National Posters, which were highlighted at Print 2005. MOR Printing, a high-end commercial printing, mailing, and fulfillment firm located in Tamarac, Florida, purchased the KBA Rapida 142 56-inch six color plus coater large format sheetfed press with hybrid UV capabilities. National Posters, Inc., the flagship company of National Print Group, Inc., headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, purchased a KBA Rapida 205 81-inch seven-color plus coater sheetfed press with UV, making it the world’s largest litho press in the U.S.

The Peak UV™ system delivers previously unheard of advantages for printers of full and hybrid UV applications. Currently in production at over 40 customers, the Peak UV™ system was designed from the ground up to deliver service and reliability advantages unprecedented in the industry. In the future, AMS intends the UV Lounge to grow as a resource for printers to continue advancing the technique of UV printing.
